INW Bee Health holds AA+ BRCGS certification. It’s a standard held now for four years running, following our latest 2026 certification issue.
BRCGS stands for Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards, a food safety standard network accepted all over the world.
Within that network exists BRCGS certification, a certification for any company in the food safety, packaging, and supply chain sectors.
Getting certified to BRCGS standards shows that a company meets at least the minimum standards for product safety and additional coverage provided by the certification, spanning traceability and operational controls.
The value to you as our customer is that your products are manufactured to the very highest quality according to standards recognised globally for retail in all markets.
AA in the certification is the highest tier for compliance, with that AA grade requiring no more than five minors for the inspection.
The + part in the name is an additional marking from the nature of the inspection. It means the inspection was performed unannounced.
Of course, an unannounced audit is much more difficult to pass, unless the company always maintains the highest standards, such as INW Bee Health does.

Additionally, there are 12 fundamental clauses. These sit within the above factors; any non-conformity of the fundamentals is considered major or critical and would eliminate the possibility of being awarded an AA grade.

MHRA GMP accreditation is the most applicable when we’re also discussing BRCGS AA+.
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice — necessary for the production of medicines, whereas BRCGS AA+ covers food and consumable products.
